Forbidden Fruits Nursery DWARF Black Mulberry are a berry fruit. They are produced in large numbers. The fruit turns from green to red to black when ripe. Each fruit is about 4-6 cm long. Ripe fruit is very soft, aromatic, and strongly flavoured. Kids love them! The Forbidden Fruits Nursery DWARF Black Mulberry fruit are an exceptional quality.

Grows to 2.5 metres high by 2 metres wide if Planted in a Pot. Grows 2.5 metres high by 2.5 metres wide if Planted in the Ground.
Uses:
Forbidden Fruits Nursery DWARF Black Mulberries are delicious! Eat them fresh, stewed, in pies and crumbles, with cream or ice-cream. They make delicious jam and jelly, ice-cream, wine and liqueur.

Growing Conditions:
The Forbidden Fruits Nursery DWARF Black Mulberry is a compact deciduous bush. It can be trained to an ornamental standard shape. The leaves are dark green, lobed, and can be as big as your hand. The tree provides good shade. Plant the tree in well-drained soil, in a sunny position. These trees are tolerant of a wide range of temperatures and moisture conditions and are frost tolerant. Mulch the tree and feed it during the growing season. Pruning in winter or after fruiting encourages more fruit to be produced. The Forbidden Fruits Nursery DWARF Black Mulberry variety grows to only 2.5 metres, it is great in a pot and a very prolific fruiting plant. The fruit on this variety are exceptional quality.

Forbidden Fruits Nursery DWARF Black Mulberry fruit are produced in Spring and Summer, ripening over a long time so you can keep picking fruit to enjoy. Pick them when ripe as they do not ripen after picking. Ripe fruit fall off the tree or drop easily into your hand. You can freeze the fruit.
